About VoyagerRadio

In 1977, NASA launched the Voyager space probe on a mission to explore the outer reaches of our solar system. The spacecraft is now the most distant human-made object in space.

Recently, Voyager began transmitting its encounters back to Earth...

...and we're relaying its transmissions back to you! To tune in to VoyagerRadio you simply need an MP3 audio player like iTunes, Winamp, Musicmatch, RealPlayer or Windows Media Player. Nearly all computer systems come pre-installed with at least one of these types of programs, so basically all you have to do is click either the Hi-Fi or the Lo-Fi link in our navigation menu above to tune in. A window will pop up and after a few moments it will display the current songs being played on VoyagerRadio. In a few more moments your MP3 player will begin playing the broadcast.

First-Time Tuning In?

If this is your first time tuning in, things will happen a bit differently. Instead of displaying the playlist right away you will first be prompted to choose the MP3 player you will be using to listen to the broadcast. Either download Live365's free MP3 player (which is also available here) or select another player. If you choose Live365's player, I highly recommend upgrading to a Live365 Preferred Membership in order to hear VoyagerRadio at the best possible quality: in CD-quality mp3PRO sound. (VoyagerRadio broadcasts in two formats: in MP3 and mp3PRO. Only Live365 Preferred Members are able to hear the higher-quality mp3PRO sound. Additionally, Preferred Members get to avoid advertisements.)

If you've followed the instructions you found in the pop-up window you should be tuning in to VoyagerRadio in no time. Of course, you can always contact us if things don't go exactly as planned...
